Louise oversees the development and delivery of What Works for Children’s Social Care’s programmes which aim to support social workers and young people in contact with the care system. She also leads on the the development of the Centre’s commissioning capability.
She is passionate about research and funding mechanisms and before joining the WWCCSC, Louise worked as a Research Manager for the Behavioural Insights Team. Here she was responsible for the smooth running of the research team, in addition to helping shape its strategic development. Prior to BIT, she worked in neuroscience and mental health grants management at Wellcome.
She thoroughly enjoys being a boat dweller in London and dabbles in aerial silks in her spare time.
